Hello my name is Alessandro and together with my family I live in Capriana a small village in the Val di Fiemme immersed in the middle of the Dolomites in the province of Trento.

For precision we live in a beautiful House “Maso Counts” where we keep a small organic farm.

Our house is surrounded by mountains, meadows and woods where streams flow and you can meet from time to time animals of our fauna ( Caprioli, Deer, Foxes, Etc. ).

This window on the web I made it first of all to introduce you to my amateur breeding of Maremmani Abruzzesi shepherds, but to get a more general picture I want to tell you a little bit about the other animals that live with us and that every day cheer us up the day!! On our small farm we have goats, Sheep, many hens, some goose, some ducks and our very intelligent albino donkeys with whom summer we trek.

Never made a trek with the donkey? We invite you to try it and better if at least two or three days; then let us know if you liked it or not!! Or you can come to us and try it!

Well now to complete the picture I just have to tell you about my four-legged friends!

Fortunately, they help us with livestock: Polly a Boarder Colly, Merlina an Australian Collie Dog, Raya a cross with the Belgian shepherd and she Super Monti for which I thought to open this site.

Each of them is indispensable for everyday work:

– Polly is very good at working with sheep and goats;

– Merlina is amazing with donkeys, in fact this breed is used in Australia and not only to work with herds of cows;

– Raya is the joker: helps both Polly and Merlina and she's the beta of the pack! And I trust you that she's the only one who can sleep next to me!!

– Monti, on the other hand, controls everything and everyone: during the day little by little to do, but at night you don't give respite also because the real danger comes especially at night ( Foxes, faine, Etc. ). Since she's had chickens, geese and all the rest of the troop sleeps quiet and blessed!!

These are my friends to whom I want a good soul and with whom I spend almost all the time of my day and if you want to know even if the day was longer I would stay with them again and again equally!

Well now you know where I live, with whom I live and more or less what I deal with and if you want to come and visit us hospitality is never lacking!!

Before greetings I want to thank a girl dear to me since if it wasn't for her I would never, ever take a dog ( the dog in question is Raya ) and it would have been a big mistake. I remember the reasons why I didn't want a dog : morning and evening must do the needs, look after him as a puppy for fear of home disasters and two or three other reasons that I now consider all superfluous.

A thousand and more are the reasons to take a dog, thousand and more are the reasons to love him!! So a thousand and more times thanks to Elisa.
